To ensure The Octagon Centre is reducing its carbon footprint, they have adopted a paperless parking system.  When you arrive at the car park, a camera will take a photograph of your number plate which records the time you entered. On departure, the pay machines will ask you to enter your registration number and your payment will appear on the screen. The camera on exit will then recognise your car and raise the barrier once the Car Park fee is paid in full.

EV CHARGING POINTS

The Octagon Shopping Centre has two electric vehicle charging points within the main Asda car park.  These are operated by our EV charging partner, Osprey.

ELECTRIC vehicle owners are able to charge their cars in the centre's car park in the allocated bays (located down the side of the shopping centre between Iceland and Asda), which allow up to four vehicles at a time to be charged. Charges for charging are made by Osprey and Octagon standard car park tariff arrangements apply throughout.

For further details of Osprey charging points, please go to Osprey Charging - Building the rapid charging network of the future.
