"Whilst St Peter's Bridge is closed and the A511 through Burton even busier than usual, if shoppers are coming into the town centre from the Stretton and Derby directions as well as from Tutbury and Rolleston we would suggest they head along the Derby Road and onto Derby Street (as if you were going to the station) and then at the Borough Road one-way system head through it and out onto Wellington Street as if they were then going to B&Q before at the roundabout at the bottom of Shobnall road turning left and following the A5189 back into town along Evershed Way to the Octagon's 700 space surface car park where if you sign up to pay by Glide you can save until the end of 2017 up to £1.20 off the normal car park tariff."
