The Octagon Shopping Centre Gets Set For An Olympic Summer Of Fun
On you marks and get set for The Octagon Shopping Centre's Olympic Live Lounge & Junior Games Garden from Saturday the 6th August until Sunday 21st August.
Celebrating the arrival of the eagerly anticipated Rio 2016 Olympics, The Octagon will be screening the games live from a giant 55inch LED screen inside their Olympic Live Lounge. Shoppers will be able to put their feet up, relax & enjoy their lunch from The Octagon's newly refurbished Subway, whilst not missing out on any of The Olympic action from Rio.
At the same time children will be able to test their skills inside the Junior Games Garden which is joined to the live lounge, with specially devised games of long jump, bean bag golf, hop-scotch and more!
The zone will be open from 11am until 5pm daily, and positioned by TK Maxx & Iceland. On Wednesday the 10th of August there will be a very special guest, as the one and only Paddington Bear will be making an appearance to meet and greet with children from 11am – 4pm. Families will be able to create their very own Marmalade sandwiches on the day inside the junior games section of the lounge!
